音樂
Alternative Rock is my thing, though I'm not opposed to other music (except Country; I HATE it!) Perfect Circle, Audioslave, Dandy Warhols, Dresden Dolls; to many current faves to mention; Old Faves are Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Concrete Blond, Talking Heads, Bowie, XTC, anything Chris Cornell. These days mostly find me listening to XM radio "Ethel" in the studio and local Denver station KTCL.
電影
"the Big Lebowski" (really any Cohn Bros. Flick), Anything Wes Anderson, "Bowfinger" (the quintessential So. Cal. movie), "Pricilla, Queen of the Desert", "the Princess Bride", "Pirates of the Caribbean" (Johnny Depp as a pirate; need I say more?)
電視
Don't watch alot, but I do try to catch "the Daily Show" and the occational rerun of "Sex & the City". Otherwise, HGTV, Discovery Channel & Animal Planet and Fuse are sometimes on the tely while I'm working in the studio.
書籍
Tom Wolfe, John Irving; Tom Robbins, Shakespeare (I know, odd combination. So I'm eclectic!)
Been reading a lot of spiritual growth/awareness/philosophy lately.
Reading "Freakonomics" right now. Funny and fascinating!

Artist Heros: Lucian Freud, local Denver artist Wes Magyar. Recently discovered Daniel Sprick. Wow. Amazing. What an inspiration. I've also been hugely inspired by the amazing art/artists I've found here on myspace. Music Heros: Johnette Napolatano (Concrete Blond) & Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audio Slave)

Artist Bio
When working on the human form, I am obsessed with capturing the moment. A brief expression; a flicker of thought crossing the face; catching that flash in time on canvas. Be it a single figure or a group, I am infinitely fascinated by humanity & the body, and with modern culture in particular.
For as far back as I can remember, I’ve had a paint brush or pencil in my hand. I studied fine arts at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California, where I was very fortunate to have several fine and talented instructors to encourage me. I’ve continued my own arts education over the last fifteen years since leaving college through diligent self-study and assorted arts workshops. My work has been shown in galleries, festivals and various public places in Los Angeles, Glendale, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, and Idyllwild, California; and Boulder, Denver, Louisville, Evergreen, Golden, Littleton, Aspen and Breckenridge, Colorado. I am proud to be included in many private collections across the country and abroad. I am now living in Denver, Colorado with Charlie the Old English Sheepdog & Emma the pug, working as a full-time artist, dedicating myself to my main medium of oils, though I do occasionally venture into sculpture and other mediums. I’ve never met an art form I didn’t like. It is my belief that all the arts lend to one another, and that my overall creative ability grows with each new venture. Thank you for your interest!

Music Bio I embarked on a life-long dream in 2006; to sing with a rock band. I've sung on and off all my life in
choirs, musicals, and the like, but never with a band. I started sessions with a vocal coach in March 2006, and about a month later, started searching for a band. I was fortunate to sing lead as well as write melody & lyrics with FILE 13 for a year and a half. File 13 is a more-or-less alternative rock band. As of December 2007, I am no longer with FILE 13. It was great while it lasted, and I am now in search of a new musical "home". If you know a great band looking for a singer, let me know.
