About me:
Fargo/Moorhead Derby Girls (FMDG) are the state of North Dakota's first and premier womens flat track roller derby league. FMDG is skater owned and operated. Our organization provides a healthy athletic outlet, and an opportunity to bring our community together. Because we manage each aspect of our league down to the last detail, we also provide insight and valuable business training to the everyone involved. The result is a refreshingly honest and genuine entertainment experience for all who attend. Nearly every state in the U.S. has one or more roller derby leagues representing them on a national level. We are on a mission to foster serious competition and we are determined to include the state of North Dakota to the ranks. We are currently recruiting:
•Skaters
•Referees
•Coaches
•Support Staff
•Volunteers

•Cheerleaders

You don't have to be the best roller skater on the block...heck-half of us haven't strapped on our skates since the 80's. All that's required is a willingness to learn, get involved and we will teach you the rest. Players must be female and 21 years of age.
Were you that kid that liked to tattle on all your friends in grade school? Well you may have just found your calling! Refs can be a guy or a girl but you must have the ability to enforce rules on a whole slew of surly roller girls pumped up on adrenaline.
We're looking for coaches that are motivators with a knowledge of personal training, and speed skating. We have a long way to go to get where we want to be and someone needs to be around to crack that whip for us!
If you want to volunteer with us but you're not interested in skating we still have a spot for you! We're always looking for steady support staff that we can rely on that will help us host our events and bouts. Merch wranglers, security, jeerleaders and mascots-the sky is the limit!
