Not an easy task for a Black kid going up in the 60's, especially when during that time, our country was going through the peak of the Civil Rights Movement. I learned a lot about society at an EARLY age. I went on to race 1/2 Midgets & TQ's in my teenage years and eventually on to Full Midgets and Sprint Cars.
We had a lot of success and I actually thought I was on my way to Indy!!! We pretty much ran every open wheel division out there until we ran broke.....Then reality set in.... and well, as luck would have it???? "Shattered Dreams"......Oh Well....I had a great time and I wouldn't change a thing !!!...
I'm still involved with racing today though no longer a driver,I currently run an open wheel driver development program for up and coming drivers along with an auto racing photography business capturing images of:Indy cars, F1, NASCAR, USAC, QMA, World of Outlaws,NHRA Drag racing, SCCA, Trans Am & Off Road....... I love racing.....A true gear head !!!...
I am also an aviation enthusiast, licensed pilot and A&P mechanic. Worked in the commercial airline industry most of my adult life doing Ground Operations and Flight Dispatch in SFO,MCI & STL.....I really enjoy flying and traveling.........Also an auto mechanic,...........
