Freestyle Mondays is a cypher that takes place round the back of Contact Theatre every Monday night at 8pm. All MCs, poets, lyricists of any form, beatboxers and creatives of all levels of ability are welcome. There are a basic set of ground rules to keep it within the tradition (i.e no battling, no offensive lyrics) and its basically a session for people to build positive skills and vibe off each other. .. .. Off the back of this we have Freestyle Mondays on a Friday, workshops inside Contact Theatre every Friday 7-10pm for anyone who attends the Monday cypher and wants to learn a bit more in a workshop environment. The result of the workshop sessions is the Freestyle Mondays on a Friday club night where participants get to showcase their talents and perform alongside artists such as Alex Blood, Broke N English, Shifty and Taskforce... .. The Freestyle Mondays Radio Show is up and running every Friday 10pm till 12am (2200-0000 GMT) on ....UNITY RADIO.... .. .. We have loads more stuff happening in the future, so keep your heads up and your ears open!.. ..
