In a music environment that is full of bands that mimic each other FNA breeds a fresh new departure in what is often lacking today, 'originality'. Hailing from the town of Newmarket and the GTA, FNA brings with them a truly flexible sound to the music industry through the combination of many musical styles and elements. FNA uses a compelling 3-part vocal harmony under the lead voice of Shawn Kirpatrick; a voice that ranges from soft melodies to gut-wrenching screams. The lead guitarist / backup vocalist, Greg Keyes, brings an intense knowledge of musical theory and skill to the band; evident not only in his complex guitar lines but his new and creative use of effects and a guitar synthesizer, adding diverse industrial elements to the sound. This strong lead is complimented and built upon by the rhythm guitarist / back up vocalist Nik Bojovic, who adds more to the creative process with his innovative ideas & experience, and astonishingly powerful voice. Beneath it all is the rhythm section including Mike Thomas on drum and Mark Davidson on bass guitar. Mikes drum lines draw on the influences of many musical styles; including Jazz, Metal, and Jungle. Though his beats are intricate, the drummer provides almost inconceivably heavy and straightforward groove that drives FNAs sound full speed ahead. The bassist, through the use of a 5 string bass guitar, serves to effectively connect the precision and difficulty demanded by the guitar lines with the power and punch demanded by the drum lines. All in all, this 5-piece band has evolved a sound that appeals to nearly all audiences despite its subtle complexities. The result is a sound that is undeniably heavy, unexpectedly melodic, and inconceivably new. FNA!

- Europe tour is a go for the Autumn '08 - New DVD is releasing Feb 26th with a CD, pre-order is up now (cheaper then the release price will be) - We will be touring Canada again for April/May 08 with another smaller Canadian tour before Europe in Sept. - We will be touring the US over the summer -The new disk is being written, and the aim is to release after we get back from Europe. its sounding amazing already - We have new songs and a new myspace profile up - make sure to check it out and let us know what you think!

How have the shows been? How's the new place? The last time I talked to you nutcases, you were speaking of all the grand summer parties you'd have... but somehow summer has passed by already. Buffalo is a bit dull, but we still have cheap beer and the best wings. :S

hey fucks! I feel like I haven't seen you guys in so long (not including you Nik). we should hang out soon even though it's only been a couple of weeks!
so..we havent talked in a week or so...its prolly better off that way, last weekend rocked my fuckin socks. i find a spot with marker on me every day...haha
so yeah now that you guys are back home, im assuming, its to my greatest sadness i have to break this news to you but you have to come back down here... mike seemed to have dropped the headset for his phone in my car.
and no i cant mail it, we need all of you crazy canadians to come back and get it, ALL OF YOU!!!!
