Welcome to the official focuspoint MySpace page. focuspoint consists of singer/guitarist Chris Watson, guitarist Jeremy Olson, bassist Paolo Mottola (Sub Scribe) and drummer Danny Woodward. The guys met while attending Stadium High School in Tacoma and created the band in 2000. After a hiatus to pursue higher education in 2003, the band regrouped in late 2005 and has since played consistently at various venues in Puget Sound.
In early 2007, the band entered the studio to record its first album, “Lost in the Sound.” The 18-track album features all original songs spanning the band’s seven-year history and kicks off with three strong singles, “Never Again,” “Sweet Release,” and “We Came Alive.” The singles represent the album’s themes of angst, heartache and restlessness.
After playing more than 20 shows in support of “Lost in the Sound” in 2007, the band went back into the studio in early 2008 torecord the five-track “Alright EP” led by thetitle track. Inspired by early 90s grunge and alternative rock, the CD shows influeces of Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Incubus, and Silverchair. The “Alright EP” will be available beginning March 8, 2008.

I have selected 5 acts to perform from the Seattle / Tacoma area. The music starts at 9PM sharp, and I advise getting there before then. This isn't a show that is going to have just one headliner, ALL the groups know how to perform and put on a good show. On top of that the Jagergirls, Dollsquad gogo dancers, and monster promo teams will be on location giving away free giveaways, while Nasty Left, Kalen. w/ SK & SPACEMAN, iLL G Sektions, evergreenOne w/ Todd Sykes and 10Th & Commerce perform through the night. It is $5.00 at the door 21 years of age and over.

This party is a hiphop bash with 5 great performances (Nasty Left, Kalen W/ special guests! , ill G Sek,evergreen One w/ Todd Sykes, 10th & commerce) from the puget sound, that all know how to lay it down. Along with the music, Jager & Monster promo teams will be giving away free stuff. Dollsquad Gogo dancers & models will also be there. Just letting you know that me and Ina have moved to Toronto, that's why we haven't come to a show for a while. You probanly won't see us in the near future if you're not planing to come out East.
