we're coming to london and thereabouts and then to in and around paris, looking for some of the above, and a couple gigs wont hurt neither !
"Spring ahead, fall behind" is a valid saying for both this coming weekend's clockwatchers and for bluegrass fans in all shapes and sizes come early April in southeast England when the Coal Porters, one of several acts alive claiming to be "the bluegrass Clash" and the only band nutty enough to claim the moniker "the world's first alt-country band", take to the stage twice in rapid succession on their home turf.
The first gig is in London, proud capital of the UK, and the second gig is in Whitstable, a town also situated by water, a town also in southeast England, a town also populated by pale people keen on cricket and real ale and a town every bit as chock full of bluegrass fanatics as London! Tickets are already selling well for both gigs, we kid you not, so don't be left out by "falling behind" but do "spring ahead" and book early. These are the last Coal Porters gig before the band flies to Colorado USA for both their MeltDown Festival performance and the recording of their new album with Ed Stasium at a secret location near Durango, Colorado (we cannot let the gutter press know where the CPs shall be or else the hotel and recording studio will be mobbed).
So please mark your calendars and wind your clocks properly!
