Fog is a band from Minneapolis, MN, USA that plays experimental rock and roll music.
It was started by Andrew Broder in 1999, and has undergone many changes. The band consists of Broder, Tim Glenn and Mark Erickson. Fog are signed to Lex Records. The new album will be released worldwide in August 2007. Guests on the record include: Low, Why?, Phil Elverum, Andrew Bird, Pedestrian, Dosh and more...
"...Andrew Broder firmly establishes himself as the head of the “Keep Indie Rock Weird” contingent, and God bless him for it. He's as comfort- able building tracks from steady Neutral Milk acoustics (not to mention slide guitar and percussive brass) as he is working with the wild electronics of what sounds like howler monkey robot-sex. A Notwist guest spot and mammoth vacuum-cleaner guitars don't hurt either. Direct, delightful, bizarre and dynamic." - SAM ROUDMAN , Filter Mag
"Imagine cLOUDDEAD jamming with Wilco, with David Lynch producing and you're only halway there" - THE WIRE

Hi - I just wanted to quick congratulate Andrew and Mark on your work on Alopecia. It's fantastic. I saw Why? a couple days ago, and it was a really, really good show - and I'm sure that had you been able to tour with them, it would have been even greater. Thanks for the good work. And Ditherer is still a constant in my musical life, so thanks for that, too.
