Four young chaps had nothing better to do, and rather than partaking with the past times of the local people (sniffing glue and inbreeding), they decided to divert their aggression towards some metal instead.
Forming in late 2005, Figure of Hate have been writing, practising and polishing their sound, (and not forgetting getting wasted) in the depths of rural Herefordshire.
Having recently found a replacement bass player, James Boyd, a new desire to create and perform has been bestowed upon them.
EXPECT TO HEAR NEW SONGS VERY SOON AS FOH WILL BE ENTERING THE STUDIO!!! The YouTube video gives you a brief taste of our new material, but the full experience will soon be in all places dank and dingy.

That was amazing!! Our first gig back on the metal scene and we provoked broken noses, beer guzzling and senseless roars of appreciation! You guys in the crowd were intense! Not once could I see a person who wasn't bathing in the grim beauty of our latest songs, and it made everything so worthwhile!
We were born to play live, to play heavey, and to party hard, and last you guys made that all possible. Thanks to everybody who came and who appreciated what we brought forth.

During the past few weeks and over the next couple, we have been/will be purchasing recording equipment to work on pre-production ideas and songs prior to booking studio time.
We have 7/8 songs ready to work with in pre-production, and when they are ready, we'll be uploading samples to our player!

Following the retirement of ex-bassist, Josh, we were thrown into a desperate time of disrepute and disfunctionality. With prospects of finding a replacement bassist looking bleak and disheartening, our musical direction became blurred. Our priorities fell overboard and other more trivial aspects of life, such as recreation...took over.
