The story of The Fold
The Fold began taking their articulate pop-scapes to Melbourne music venues in early 2002. Keen to stretch their wings, in 2004 the band embarked on a guerilla-style tour of Europe, appearing in London pubs and clubs and festivals in the lowlands of Western Europe.
Incorporating the lazy, spacey vibes of the quiet life in Melbourne and the crude rhythms of London’s east, the new album "A Kind of Lightening" highlights the unique song-writing talents of this dynamic group. The songs are painted in rich colours, with attention to detail surrounding a mixture of rock experimentation and pop-song honesty.
