On the home front, a friend helped by digging a garden for me so I could plant veggies, plus I got some free banana plants to add to the fruit producing collection. Living off the land, even in the city, is becoming more important than ever these days.
And yes, I AM looking forward to meeting and hearing Chris Castle in January for his River Road House Concert! Long time comin'!
I'm looking to get an umbrella walking stick a.s.a.p. since there has been some glorious rain happening lately as I've been hobbling about. Everything's beautiful and green out!
Hope you are well and thriving,
JoLynn

I surely did love seeing/hearing Alex & Monica from Tripping Lily - they are wonderful,
as well as that super guy playing left handed guitar at the beginning of the video - who IS that!?
I think I should know this person, shouldn't I?!
We had an AWESOME end of season concert of River Road House Concerts with Eric Taylor with an opening
set by Eric Gerber. The audience's spirits were lifted by Eric Gerber's feel-good style, then were mesmerized by Eric Taylor's stream of tales which took us into the minds of characters along the journey of life. Really, it is quite the jaw dropping experience listening to him.. Man it was a hot day in San Antonio that day - I'm going to adopt Eric Taylor's and Susan Lindfors' trick of tying a wet bandanna around the neck - they kept cool.
You may be interested to know that Eric Gerber, an Atlanta native who got his start in the Boston music scene, has designed and built a very clever, light weight and compact, super sounding solar powered sound system he uses when he performs. I want one!!! He also has converted his vehicles to use grease for fuel. Eric has a bumper sticker that says something like, "Do you smell french fries? ..That's weird, so do I!" - ha.
Great to see you on the NERFA video. I'm vegging for a little while before Kerrville.
Take good care,
JoLynn
