make no mistake, I'm no pro! just love folk songs especially when you get a good chorus at a club! can't beat it,the getting hammered part is simply a bonus....I used to run Saltburn FC once upon a time, and am looking into putting on gigs again....so if you want one you know what to do......AND!.......
not that I've had any offers, but I'll sing owt for a pint!

...then it was the turn of Folk Daddy. Some may know him as the genial drummer from noisy boro types Idiot Savant, but Ben Muriel has a secret folky past, and his accapella renditions of traditional British folk songs are rapidly gaining him a cult following of his own, espeacially with good lady wife Folk Mammy accompanying on delightful harmonies.

He looks more like Folked Daddy.....!!

"Meanwhile stand up drummer Ben stands in with a rendition of his Folk Daddy repertoire, though he perhaps stretches things too far in his rendition of Two Little Boys." Bob Shrug, Gazette. - how can two little boys be a step too far? I ask ya!!!

Teesside accappella folk that essentially combines all the best bits of Sheffield born actor Sean Beans entire career and wallops them into fifteen minutes. For starters it Sounds like that bit at the end of each episode of Sharpe where Sgt Harper pulls a bullet out of his leg and the Yorkshire man with the pony tail sings ‘over the hills and far away’. Secondly Folk Daddy manages to emit the same onstage harmony with his co-singer, Beans character Jimmy Muir oozes when he finally gets the girl in ‘When Saturday Comes’ and just when you can’t remember anything else Sean Beans done apart from being the doyle in Lord of The Rings its mixed with the wisdom that the Steel City's favourite Sean pulls out the bag in 1998’s Ronin when he shouts at a bemused Robert De Nero and co “Nearly some raspberry jam back there lads, nearly some raspberry jam.” Paul Emmett
It's a place for bands to explain how they book shows. Comes along with news on web technologies, recording gizmos as well as music industry trends and anecdotes.

morning, glad you're liking the rio grande recording, a shame about your terrible jokes but I am very envious of your trip to york next weekend, is it just the four of them playing it?

Come and clean my windows! You can look into my room and see all of my NOW! cds and Bunty comics, and realise how exceedingly uncool i am. It's all an act, really.
Seriously though, if he can't even be bothered to collect his own money, i don't want him near my windows. He's obviously lazy, and will do a shoddy job. Pretty logical, i think.

Ben, i received a note through my door today from AlAN [sic] the window cleaner. Apparently his round is too big for someone to go around and collect money at a seperate time, so they will charge you straight after cleaning. I think he's just trying to boast.
Is your dad called Alan? Or, AlAN, as he liked to put. I hope so.
