About me:
"A Boxful of Treasures Folk Club" is a non-profit Italian Cultural Association whose stated purpose is to encourage and promote all forms of musical and artistic expression of Scottish, Irish and English Folk Music. We are organizing a new edition of our Folk Festival for the next summer 2009.
"A Boxful of Treasures Folk Festival" is a multi-day Traditional Folk Music Festival and there is a deliberate policy in the festival to combine well established folk musicians and emerging talents
This is the second edition of the Festival and it will be held in Forlì, 65 km south of Bologna, at the historic "Piazzetta della Misura" in the City Centre of Forlì, Italy. This year's event will be held on July 31th and August 1th, with two full evening concerts. All of the shows are free to the public.
The lineup of the festival will be officially announced shortly, and those musicians interested in participating should contact us as soon as possible. We offer our hospitality and our hearts to those who want to share with us this fantastic project inspired by friendship and good music, surrounded by our Mediterranean climate !
We would like to thank all Musicians who make possible the realization of this wonderful dream with their strong generosity, cooperation and dedication ! Thanks again with all our heart !
