Heroes
Everyone in my family, for unabashedly following their unique and diverse paths, whether they are world traveler, homebody, hobo, hiker, activist, recluse, scholar, or gardener. My grandmother, who demonstrates how to be humble, impeccably diplomatic, and the kind of person everyone confides in while also being mischievous and sharply smart. Pete Seeger, for his ability to knit people together in positive relationships. Luna Lovegood for serenely walking her own path and speaking the truth as she sees it.

About me: I am involved in the folk music community, including hosting a folk radio program and volunteering at concerts and festivals. First on my friends list is "Mostly Folk," the radio show for which I am one of the hosts. I also enjoy other musical genres, including nueva canción, new age, show tunes, and music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. I use my myspace blog to comment on songs and musicians I like, usually of the folk genre. I have some blogs in other locations for when I want to blog about non-musical topics.
Who I'd like to meet:
I don't accept friend requests from people I don't know or musicians I'm not already a fan of. Instead of sending your friend requests to me, send them to Mostly Folk, which is first on my friends list.
Hey Terry, I see you've discovered the MySpace MyMusic feature for playlists. I'll watch for more playlists if you post them. I love that version of Quite Early Morning and the Loreena McKennit song (she's one of my favorite artists )
