I'm proof that Autism is reversible!

As of September 2009, he has recovered from Autism! Below is the original story. My name is CJ. I was born February 27, 2007. I was a perfect baby, hitting all my milestones just right. Then, when I was 15 months old, I received a vaccine cocktail, and haven't spoken since. But I still was a fun loving little boy. I was hitting all of my physical milestones. Then, at the end of January 2009, I received another cocktail of vaccines, and wasn't feeling too well after. I had a fever and cried a lot, but mommy was always told that was normal. A week later, I started throwing up. I vomited every day, sometimes very little, and sometimes a lot. My mommy was getting very worried. She set up meetings with a speech therapist, her name is Liz. She suggested that it could be my hearing. I had my hearing tested, but my hearing is fine. That is when my mommy realized I had autism. I was getting worse every day. I got overwhelmed easily,threw fits at the drop of a hat, refused all eye contact, didn't want to hug or even be touched by my close family members and buddies, ran and walked on my tippy toes, flapped my arms and jumped up and down when I has happy, and started looking malnourished, even though I loved to eat and ate all the time. I went to see my pediatrician, but I don't think she knows what is wrong. So my mommy started researching. She spent many hours for many days researching, reading books and talking with other moms with children like me. She started me on a gluten- and casein-free diet. She also started me on some supplements, and gives me homemade fruit and veggie juice every morning. I am already starting to get better. My eye contact is almost 100%, I have starting trying to say words, and I love hugging and kissing grandma and Aunti Becki again. I still have autistic characteristics and still throw big fits when I'm overwhelmed, but I am on my way to recovery. As of July 2009, eye contact is completely 100% and he rarely has tantrums. Many people claim that the only reason parents believe vaccines are causing autism is because both happen around the same time. But I didn't become autistic overnight. Some happened after my 15 month vaccines, then nothing until after my 23 month vaccines. That doesn't look like a coincidence to me. My mommy's goal is to have me in mainstream kindergarten when I am 5.
Throughout all of this, one of the only people I open up to is my little brother Brian. I always gave him hugs and kisses, and I pet his head and say "nice."
