About me:

My name is Jay, and I'm an alcoholic. I tend to tell it like it is. I'm not one of those people who says they tell it like it is, and then lie to your face. I am a heterosexual in the grandest sense of the word. I enjoy sex with women, but I am not ashamed to hug a man. I watch more sports than a suburban white-boy should, but I have to have something to talk about when women start talking about menstruation and shoes. I am not a racist, or a sexist, but jokes are funny and people need to stop being so god damn sensitive. I have no formal dogma and it makes things a lot easier. Giada De Laurentiis is one of the hottest women on TV, and needs to wake up and realize that she needs me in her life.

Music is my number one thing. I'm still continuing my education, and probably will until the day I die. I don't really seeing myself ever being happy with caliber of musician I am -- In my mind I will always see room for improvement.

I've seen a lot of people put a list of random thoughts/quotes about themselves, so I decided to try it:

  • Rush is the greatest band in the Universe; if you disagree, you are Wrong!

  • I managed to catch the double-recessive gene in my family and ended up being hypoglycemic in a family full of diabetics.
  • Lysdexia...frick!
  • I'm ambidextrous in many facets of my life, including writing, drumming, and most sports.
  • George Carlin is probably THE funniest man in the world. It's true.
  • Candy is my downfall.
  • Whiskey and Jagermeister rules straight-up.
  • $5 Little Caesars' pizza is the legal equivalent of crack.
  • I suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, manic depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, delusions of grandeur, psychosis, post-partum depression, and major trauma resulting in blackouts. Well, not actually "suffer" I use it to my advantage.
  • For some weird reason, I enjoy watching television with Closed Captioning on.
  • Sandwiches are great. The greatest sandwich, bar none, was the McRib. Even the bones were made of meat!
  • The Skullet could kick the shit out of the Emo-Asymetrical haircut!
  • "Men aren't fat, only fat women are fat"
  • Porn is amazing, and if you don't like it, too damn bad!
  • "Scrubs" is better than "Grey's Anatomy", "M.A.S.H.", "House", "ER", and "Doogie Howser M.D." COMBINED!
  • If you are a female under 18, put some damn clothes on!
  • People in general need to shut the fuck up!
  • I actually don't pride myself as being an asshole, but people seem to bring it out of me very well; so if you think I'm being an asshole, guees who's fault it is!
  • Beauty, like power, is fleeting...but a shitty personality lasts forever; be careful who you fuck.
  • Scientology is a cult, just like most modern organized religions.
  • I absolutely HATE punk (real and fake), Disco, Grunge, False metal, false hardcore, and Emo/Screamo music. I use the term 'music' in the broad sense as in: The all American rejects make great music.
  • The 19th Amendment is bar none, the WORST amendment ever, and should have never been passed.
  • The 23rd Amendment is stupid too.
  • Dinosaur fossils were actually buried by the Jews in 1924.
  • I'm glad the whole "metrosexual" phase has gone away. Now we can go back to calling people fags again.
  • Electric Shock is a lost art form and should be used in almost all situations.
  • I blame punk, disco, and grunge music for the sad state that music is in today. It's all your damn fault!

    i love your layout! ok so i listend to poles apart and i like it! i cant critisze that one lol im sry but its good so i think you should write the ballads for it. itl be tricky in some areas of the song but go for it. and btw that poster add thing below my comment is so funny!

    A Rite of Passage thoughts: not terrible, though not one of their shining moments. The main riff sections are pretty cool. One super plus: the chorus is pretty kickin', reminds me a lot of Falling Into Infinity. The vox are actually a highlight for me. The solo section is pretty cool, but I love JR's solo key patch (you'll hear more of it's goodness on Home and Presence of Enemies). The Bebo (or whatever it's called) solo is cool for the first ten seconds, I just wish he didn't make it sound so much like one of Keith Emerson's "here's some weird shit" solos. JP is, of course, all over this solo section. JM's playing is good, but his chorus line leaves a little to be desired.
    So you wanted to know my thoughts on it, there they are. Ooga booga.
