In 1993 TeOp & Soup burst onto the fledgeling Oz Hip Hop scene with the EP The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of... which immediately gained rotation on Australias National Youth Channel - Triple J and was among the first Australian Hip Hop releases to do so. Now after several solo outings and a lengthy hiatus the Fonke Knomaads are back with their Debut Album : CLEOPATRA'S BATH MILK : released 8-08-08.

Creative Vibes & SoulJourner Records are pleased to present the long awaited full length album featuring TeOp the Emphatical and DJ Soup. The album guests ol' school funk legend Thadeus Rimshot, the wisdom of Elder Oracle, the wordsmith Abz, label mates 2UP and Nick Knowledge, as well as E.E.S., Brethren, Oakbridge, Kilente the Mo6, Sonic Solo, R.E.L. and the Multiple Arrow Crew.

Currently touring the album the explosively heavy funk set has been blowing away crowds across Sydney. Teaming up with Chris G. the Fonk Smuggler on bass, Shami da Ninja on the GB, Andy C. the Animal on drums, Rumbi singin' soul and Charlotte Jane on Jazz vocals. It is a pleasure to work with vocalists and musicians who are all quality artisits in their own right, and for this cause alone the Knomaads live set is not to be missed.

Individually & together DJ Soup, TeOp and the Fonke Knomaads have played the likes of the Sydney Superdome (Acer Arena), Oxford Art Factory, Melt, The Supper Club, Earthdance 07/08, AGMF07/08, Peats Ridge Festival, Revolver, Bar Broadway, Beach Rd, Brackets n Jam, Youthfest, Blackstump 07/08, 351 MMAD camps & Hermann's.

They have supported the likes of Michael Franti, Bliss n' Esso, Potbelleez, 2UP, Def Wish Cast, Good Buddha, Mind Over Matter & Brethren.
