TANNER BAILEY: Studio Owner, Producer, Songwriter, Musician.
Born & raised in Colorado, grew up skiing and playing ice-hockey, played guitar with BILLSPEERING an instrumental jam band touring around Colorado between 1997 and 2002 (www.billspeering.com ), then moved to LA, and co-founded “Tanner12” with Carl Chavis (www.myspace.com/tannertwelve), co-founded “Evo9” with Juan Lardizabal (www.myspace.com/evo9music ), and also plays in Miss. Dereu also with Juan. Tanner and Spencer Blair (who was also a member of “billspeering”), founded Food Mart Music in the fall of 2007.
SPENCER BLAIR: Sound Engineer, Producer, Beat Maker, Musician.
Born & raised in Colorado, Spencer grew up skiing, playing hockey, and mountain bike trail racing. His interest in music and the recording arts began in high school, when he picked up the piano, and got a job at his school’s recording facility. After that, he played keys with Tanner in “billspeering,” and toured the mid-west for about 5 years. After college, Spencer did 2 years of composing and sound design with 42 Productions in Colorado, as he developed a strong attachment to electronic music production. Since moving to LA around 2006, he has worked as a post supervisor for a few movies, and now works exclusively as head engineer at Food Mart Music, recording artists and making hot tracks for various outlets.
JEFF TRASTEK: Studio Manager, Producer, Songwriter, Musician.
A born native to Minnesota, Jeff spent the last 10 years in Boulder, Colorado skiing and playing music, and where he graduated from CU and toured with his Rock/Jam band Sweet Mo Pea. He has been playing guitar and producing songs for 15 years in the music business. He's worked with many great artists and continues to improve his status as a producer with Food Mart Music in LA. Jeff excels at getting the absolute best out of an artist/group in the recording studio while keeping the vibe cool and fun.
GAVIN MEYER Audible Sin: Sound Engineer, Producer, Lyricist.
Born & raised in Colorado, grew up with a strong passion for music and love of the arts. He is a lyricist, vocalist, and engineer mostly dealing in hip hop and rock. He has been in multiple music groups, notably Basement Fusion out of Boulder. Gavin has just recently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue work with Food Mart Music as an engineer and an independent artist.

Happy Bullet. Tanner Bailey, Spencer Blair, Gavin Meyer, Jeff
Trastek, and Joe Wilson. We are currently doing work with
Ambush Entertainment, and look forward to working with Riot
Films this fall. Our most recent work was a short film, “Ping Pong,”
Directed by Erwann G, Marshall. We are also currently scoring a documentary about the Electoral College directed by Hayley Karl.
Food Mart Music expanding! (new lounge room, alternate studio site)
- Food Mart Music is now bigger and better! We have expanded to
another room that we are turning into a mastering suite, as well as
using it for a nice lounge space for those long recording days. We have also teamed up with Thirteenth Floor Recordings in West Hollywood, and now operate alternatively from that location as well. There, you will find just as much convenience when recording with hip-hop and trip-hop producer, Juan Lardizabal, as he is a true sound wizard, and professor of the art of mastering (literally!)… there is a fully-isolated sound booth there as well as a classic Tangent 3216 soundboard (simple circuitry design, made in the 70’s, with lots of head room,) modified partly by DBG Sound and by Juan himself.
