I want to understand why I do what I do by talking about it w/others. I want to understand this incredible addiction that so many of us have in so many ways & how it effects our body image & self worth. There are so many different Eating disorders & this is way more than just about Obesity. This site is for anyone & everyone who has an eating issue & wants to talk about it. This is not about anything more than love & support of each other while we all deal with this monster. I myself am obese & need to lose easily 100lbs. I found myself realizing how serious this was becoming when I actually took a piece of cake (it was still in the container)out of the garbage during the night & ate it... because? I dont freekin know, I was alone, I was watching a food network show & apparently felt I needed more of it. I was blown away after when I realized I wasnt actually even enjoying it! I didnt find it to be a fantastic piece of cake & the fact that it was there & I was bored or whatever, I ate it! I am seeing a counselor regarding my mild ocd & obvious eating compulsions... but I want to take whatever I know & help you...or at least by what you share with me, your success, your downfalls...all of it we can help each other.
