The debut EP for Fools and Angels is OUT NOW! The 7 track CD is titled Something Will Grow and is a collaboration of original songs that the band has been playing live for the last year or so. It's a collection of music written about relationships, loneliness, love and life's struggles.
Recorded and produced by their very own John Carr, the band selected tracks covering a wide spectrum of tempos and sounds. From the energetic opener "Something Will Grow" to the memorable "Gratitude", followed by the Beatles inspired ballad "Second Time so Blue", the EP displays artistic integrity and genuine commitment to their craft.

________________________________________ Four piece outfit Fools and Angels offer their listeners raw honesty through their unique style of melodic rock. Their catchy guitar-driven songs have been capturing Melbourne audiences over the last two years. With personal lyrics and three part harmonies, members Byron, John, Pete, and new addition Rhys, each contribute meaningfully to the collaboration.
Influenced by artists such as Further Seems Forever, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Fire Theft, The Juliana Theory and Silverchair, Fools and Angels bring musicality to rock, writing intriguing melodies accompanied by life inspired lyrics. They have been bringing their live sound to many Melbourne venues such as the Espy, Revolver Upstairs, the Public Bar, the Noise bar, the Empress, Ding Dong Lounge and the Arthouse, sharing the stage with many of Melbourne's great independent bands.
2008 saw the release of Fools and Angels debut EP "Something Will Grow". Fools and Angels have been working hard since their 2006 inception, playing live and laying down tracks in the studio. On top of that, they have also shot a studio film clip for "Something Will Grow" and appeared on "Young Courage", a compilation CD featuring Australian and International acts to raise awareness and funds for children facing extreme poverty in the Philippines.
