Foolscap Fire began about five years ago. Cherish and Katie are sisters, and began playing together in various bands back in 1997. They did time in punk bands like The Inpatients and The Wrecks and then started a band with Jen Calento(currently of the F.A.N.S.S.) called The Ficas. The Ficas put out one cd and went on a west coast tour in the summer of 2001. Jen went on to other bands, and Cherish and Katie continued to play as Foolscap Fire with Sean Ruse(formerly of Hobart) and later Matt Rendon(of The Resonars and The Knockout Pills) was added as rhythm guitarist. Currently the line-up is Matt Rendon(Bass), Cherish Rendon(Guitar) and Katie Rogers(Drums).
