Die Bandmitglieder fanden sich fast alle zusammen, als sie auf die selbe Schule in die selbe Klasse gingen. Durch mehrere Soloprojekte der Jungs mit befreundeten Musikern und Bands fand man sich immer mal wieder zusammen, bis sie sich letztenendes als eigene Band zusammengefunden hatten.
Die ersten Proben veranstaltete man im kirchlichen Gemeindehaus, was aufgrund der Lautstärke nicht lange tragbar war. So zog man kurzerhand in einen neuen Proberaum in einem der nahegelegenen Bunker, wovon man sich uneingeschränkte Probemöglichkeiten versprach, welche bis heute auch voll und ganz ausgenutzt werden.
Fools Errant versuchten direkt eigene Sachen auf die Beine zu stellen, mit eigenen Riffs und eigenen Texten. Man wollte nicht auf bekannten Coversongs oder ähnlichem aufbauen.
Die vielen verschiedenen Musikgeschmäcker der Jungs wirkten sich hierbei ausgesprochen positiv aus, denn so entstand eine faszinierende Mischung aus verschiedenen Rockgenres.
Einige Höhepunkte der Band sind die Europatour 2008 durch Länder wie England und Frankreich, sowie der Trip nach Russland, wo sie auf dem mit Abstand Größten Rockfestival spielten dass die russische Hemisphäre zu bieten hat. Außerdem spielten die Jungs schon bei namhaften Festivals wie dem Olgas Rock.

All the band members attended the same school and the same grade. Through this and many music projects (solo and band-wise) they found each other, performed together and finally formed the band “FOOLS ERRANT”.
From the very beginning it was understood to all the members of FOOLS ERRANT that they did not want to copy other band’s styles by playing there songs. They wanted to find there own style. For this the different musical tastes of the band members are very helpful. They combine traditional hard rock with new riffs and ideas.
Now that their demo-CD is out and the songs are online (great quality!), you can get a picture of what FOOLS ERRANT are about, their style and individuality. We hope you enjoy and to see you or hear from you soon!
