My taste in music is incredibly eclectic, ranging from rock to classical and including almost everything in between (though I'll admit to having a soft spot for rock).
Here's a random sampling of artists from my various playlists: David Cook, U2, Goo Goo Dolls, Pearl Jam, Green River Ordinance, Axium, Collective Soul, MWK, The Fray, Snow Patrol, The Who, Lifehouse, To Have Heroes, Frank Sinatra, The All-American Rejects, Led Zeppelin, Nat "King" Cole, One Republic, Alice In Chains, Debussy, Foo Fighters, Paolo Nutini, Radiohead, Bryan Adams, The Beatles, Muse, Sondheim, Nine Days, Five for Fighting, Our Lady Peace, Counting Crows, Ryan Star, The Police, Sister Hazel, Nine Inch Nails, Van Halen, Train, Third Eye Blind, Hinder, Smash Mouth ... and the list goes on.
Movies
I love movies - all movies - silent, classic, independent, studio, experimental, short, documentary, foreign, etc. and just about every genre.
A random selection of movies I've found worth watching (from a very long list) include: Dark City, Momento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Monty Python & The Holy Grail, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Pan's Labyrinth, Wuthering Heights, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Third Man, Star Wars V: The Empire Stikes Back, North by Northwest, King Kong, Aliens, Charade, Singing in the Rain, The Sixth Sense, The Princess Bride, Sweeney Todd, The Incredibles, The Lion in Winter, Seven Samurai, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Spellbound, Shrek, Finding Neverland, any Buster Keaton film ... and more.
Television
When I'm not listening to music and/or reading, the television usually serves as background noise while I'm working. Lately, there are few occasions when I have the time or inclination to actually sit down and watch a program from start to finish and very few programs I choose to record - Battlestar Galactica, 24 and House are a few programs that readily come to mind.
As with my other interests, my taste is eclectic and I've watched and/or listened to pretty much anything and everything at one time or another.
My watching the entire seventh season of American Idol was a complete aberration and the blame lies solely with Mr. David Cook, whose voice while auditioning captivated me; before I knew it I had turned in my chair to watch and soon thereafter spoke the words "He HAS to win" to my husband. My admiration and respect for the man as an artist and human being has only grown since then. I am a fan for life.
Books
I'm a voracious reader and, akin to my other interests, have an eclectic taste in genres - ranging from classic literature and plays to science fiction and graphic novels and everything in between!
A random sampling of living authors whose work I've read recently would include Cormac McCarthy, Jeffery Deaver, Frank Miller, JK Rowling, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Gary Larson :) and Orson Scott Card.
Heroes
My parents. Survivors.

Lisa! I'm so excited that you get to go to the gala!! Hubby even agreed to go take me, as it's on my birthday, but the darned airfare killed that idea, lol. I know you will have a BLAST!
Just wanted to stop by and wish you a happy, safe Halloween & a great weekend! And, THANK YOU for all the hard work & the wonderful job you do over at DCO! It is very much appreciated! Cheers! xo
FA64 -- huge huge applause to you for taking on the moderator role at DCO. If RCA/Sony had done this initally, so much stress and angst could have been avoided. It's a thankless job that you've taken on, so I just wanted to thank you in advance -- because if anybody can manage this difficult work, I know YOU can. You ROCK, and I know DC is appreciating what you are doing for him and his fan community. Julie
