Footlovers music is Joy Kitikonti's label.
Being Joy a full 360° genuine creative person, he found himself in the need of having something more than a traditional record label. He wanted the possibility to combine his music with his passion for photography and video making.
After starting to personally take care of his record's covers graphics and having directed some of his video as well, with Mirko Rispoli, a young talented italian movie maker, he created Footlovers Music with Alex Grani to abandon the restrictions of being a "deejay", a "producer", a "graphic" - or whatever else -and to create an artistic blend between electronic music - from minimal to ambient - photography, video and fashion. This way Joy has gained the freedom to produce and collaborate with various artists from different fields, and realizing through each release a well balanced experience between these elements. They released in May 2009 the “United Djs For Abruzzo” exclusive on Beatport. A varius artists album with (Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, Mauro Picotto, Mario Più, Joy Kitikonti, Alex Young, Presslaboys, Stephan Krus, NDKj and more..All profits will be given to help the people from Abruzzo after the terrible earthquake.
