Krisp was made manifest as a recording artist in 1996 through the release of two tracks entitled "Footnotes" and "Fleet" on the seminal Love OD Communications label. More than five years passed until the next outing, also being a 12 inch record with two tracks, this time on Footnotes Records (now defunct), an outlet run by Krisp in conjunction with Love OD and Tellé Records, respectively.
