For a few marbles more has just been selected to screen at an International Film Festival for the 200th time. Festival number 200 will be the Sukagawa International Short Film Festival in Japan.
As far as is known there are no other films from the Netherlands, including feature films, that have reached such a great number of international film festival selections. Or fiction films that have received such an amount of prizes and special mentions. Up till now For a few marbles more has been awarded 37 prizes, amongst which a ‘Silver Remi’ at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival and the ‘Golden Kite’ at the Nueva Mirada International Film Festival in Argentina.
