'FOR A REASON' were built upon influences such as Muse, Nirvana, As I Lay Dying, Deftones, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Iron Maiden, Pantera etc. using a mix of rock,punk and metal to create a distinguished sound of our own including thumping bass, thundering drum beats, raw guitar riffs and screaming to match!
Formed in winter 2004 'FAR' have come from indie rock gradually progressing to the heavy rock and now taking on board metal.
Finally realising after a year or so together who ew were and where we wanted the band to be, creating a new excitment amongst ourselves seeing them become more aggresive both in music and in performance.
But we have now found we have taken the 3 piece band as far as we can go and have decided its time to introduce a 4th member with a bigger metal influence so we can develope into a metal band, which is where we want to be. So march 2008 Phill Joined the band. Writting pretty much totally new music and leaving most of our older stuff behind, all our future gigs promise to be a total new experience both to us and people who previously listened.
We will have a new track(s) up pretty soon.
