Bio

Biografi The band started up in 2005 with Raymond Smith and Paul Anders along with a couple of guys from Funeral and Koldbrann, creating Forbidden Forest. Smith has an essential role in the genre of Metal, both when it comes to performance and radio-shows. Anders is known to have a rich, musical background which adds color to the more traditional sound of Metal. Late 2006 the EP "Enter" was released. A new drummer and great guitar players from other bands added fresh inspiration, contributing to the unique sound of Forbidden Forest. 2010 the album "A Painful Awakening" was released. Early 2011 after some touring the vocalist Paul had to withdraw from the band. Colin is the new vocalist, and will bring the sound of Forbidden Foret to the next level. On stage The band primarily plays their own work, bur puts in a few cover-songs from various artists. The band provides a total Metal-experience, from thrashy grooves and clean vocals to heavy riffs accompanied by deep growling. Experience shows that each and every listener finds great pleasure in Forbidden Forest! The band has had the pleasure of sharing stage with: Satyricon, Keep Of Kalessin, Paul DiAnno, Evergrey, Y & T, Susperia, Blood Red Throne, Unspoken, Gaia Epicus, Mindgrinder, Imbalance, Emma Varg, Dead Sheriff and many more good bands.
