About me:

I play drums in the Industrial band Harpy. I'm an Englishman who fell for a beautiful Aussie goddess and followed her home to Melbourne, Australia. The alternative music festivals happening in Europe are a current facination of mine, and I'd love to travel over to Europe and go from one to another. M'era Luna, Wacken, Wave Gotik Treffen and Download spring immediately to mind. Have you been to these festivals and soaked up the performances and the atmosphere? Or even played in a band at these amazing spectacles? Melbourne is a fantastic place to enjoy underground music. You'll see me at Breakcore, Industrial and Electronica gigs as well as Death Metal, Thrash and other dark alternative gigs around the city. So I guess you can say that I'm influenced by this place having lived here for 8 years now. Other interest of mine are science in the news, the background behind current affairs and for the last few years I've been putting the peices together of British, European and world history. Radio National Podcasts and Wiki Pedia are my friend.

Who I'd like to meet:

Bob Fossil! The Dali Lama, Trent Reznor, Lee Evans... If you're in a band in Melbourne or Victoria and you want to put on a great shows and share a stage with Harpy then lets make things happen. We're ready to rock out! So if you want to pool resources such as promotional budget and sharing equipment for fast change over times etc then get in touch. -Especially bands with a heavy rockin' element to their sound. We seem to cross over to Metal audiences just fine for instance. If you are a band booker or booking agent then lets have a coffee and talk about your venue or circuit of clubs etc. I play with my band Harpy but I also record singer songwriters and have shared the stage with some bands who may be just what you need for your gig.

    What have I been up to?  Lately there's been a lot of nappy changing and bottle feeding, not much time for anything else.  ...but I hear the situation improves after the first few months!

    Love to come check out Harpy on Xmas eve, and I will if I can.
