Surgiu nas ruas paralelas da cidade nova a banda Força Paralela em novembro de 2004, juntando influências de vários estilos do rock (grunge, punk, pop rock, indie rock...).
Tem em sua formação atual: Helder Herrera (voz e guitarra), Fábio Franco (guitarra), Thiago Vasconcelos (Bateria), Rafael Cavalcanti (baixo). Na primeira formação, tivemos na bateria Luis Augusto e na guitarra, Alan Cavalcanti.
As influências da banda giram em torno de bandas como Legião Urbana, Eng. do Hawaii, U2, los Hermanos, Arctic Monkeys, Morrisey. A proposta da banda é fazer uma música como forma de expressar dia - dia das pessoas que as vezes é confuso, mas também é engraçado, interessante e romântico e fazer um som sem estar preocupado em seguir uma tendência no rock, a preocupação maior é fazer um som espontâneo, que seja um tipo de "marca registrada" do grupo.
A banda tem em sua discografia os EP’s “a estrada”, lançado em outubro de 2007 e “verdade e mentiras - volume 1” em março de 2009, ambos lançados e disponibilizados da internet.
Participou de vários eventos, dentre eles o festival ACORDE II, programa “protótipo” na rádio cultura FM do Pará, show no FÓRUM SOCIAL MUNDIAL 2009 e apresentação na seletiva do festival SE RASGUM 2009.
