A very concise history: Forced March started in Portland as an attempt to play thrash and sing about all things political, but most notably veganism. Somehow the thrash thing didn't work out and we wound up sounding like a bastardized version of Infest. Things could be worse. We attempted to record our first demo with Mike Kelly. This was a disaster and these recordings earned the title the Mike Kelly can suck it demos. Not original, but if you heard these things you would think that the Chung King sessions were a masterpiece. After numerous attempts to record a proper demo, we wound up recording with Mike Lastra of Smegma. A Portland punk pioneer if there ever was one. Through no fault of his we recorded what would become known as the Six Song Demo. People seemed to dig the demo, but we really weren't that pumped on it. Somehow we managed to go through about 200 hundred copies of it (though to my knowledge Joe Below was the only person able to sell them. We sure as hell didn't). A few months later we went back to the studio. This time to work with our third Mike. We recorded the full length Take Immediate Action at the Ship in Portland. After its release we toured the West Coast. We came back to Portland and started to work on new stuff. It was at this point that we wound up splitting with our first guitar player and changing directions. We wanted to play fast hardcore, not power violence. Splits are never fun and this one was no exception. Jake joined the band, shreds like a mother fucker, and we go record what would become the Wasted Existence 7" and our side for the split 7" with our friends Raiser from Spain. We recorded these seven songs with Chris Common up at Red Room in Seattle. Nick joined the band as a second guitar player and life was good. We toured the West Coast again and then did the full US with the chaps in Autistic Youth. Then things fell apart. People wanted to pursue other musical interests and the March called it quits a few hours before we were supposed to play with Regulations. That's a downer isn't it?

This is intelligent psychedellic electronica done the hard rock way. Entirely live programming, these symphonic, heart-felt, catchy melodies and dark sexy beats will hypnotize you and take you into a sixth dimension where all things are perfect and poisonous.
