1996
is the foundation year of Foreshadowing.
At first rather a band with project character Kevin Nagel (Git. /Voc.) and Tobias Kuessner (Bass) played on small stages thoughtful and mostly dark sounding rock music, while electronic sounds, recorded by Kevin, were played in the background. Further Band members fade away as quickly as they’d appeared. Both the brought in electronic element as also the sad constant changes in the line up should with time become trademark of the band.
2000
In this year Chris Hausl takes over (formerly Minory) as the Lead singer. Drums and synthesizers are programmed and accompany the formation in his particular sound. The formation gains little by little a more band like character.
2001
The 1st album "The Burnout-Effect" is produced and finds great reminiscence.
2002
Mirko Rizzello (formerly Wallsplit) kicks in as a percussionist and long-standing friend of Christian, and turns the trio into a quartet. Not at last it is Mirkos considerably minimalistic way to play, that ads a more classical rock occupation through additional Drums from the background to the electronic sound, but preserves the basic sound of the band.
2004
After the guitar work, following the further trend, has quickly expanded. The band decides to search for a second guitarist. Florian Machnow takes over this post. Initial doubts concerning his small age, were smashed with his unique talent of playing.
Also the stages grew bigger with the time and so Foreshadowing gives, among other things, the support for N.F.D. (Fields of the Nephilim) at the K17 in Berlin
2005
in the production of the 2nd Album "Delta Mode" founder member Tobias Kuessner quits the band due to professional and private circumstances. Dirk Venzke takes over his place (formerly Aberatio) and brings in not only some new influences, but also 2 additional strings on his bass.
After the unambiguously rock based Delta Mode, should from now on, the electronic sound gain again in more importance.
The music should become more aggressive and more modern, free according to the motto: New techniques, more possibilities.
Guitarist Kevin did not like to walk this way with us and unfortunately quits Foreshadowing shortly after Florian Machnow also left the band due to personal problems. From now on the programming of the “Backing-Synths” lay extensively in the hands of Chris.
2006
The destination is reached: The music bases itself on the roots of the band more strongly than ever before, but remained nevertheless modern.
Once again the Band had shrunk back into a trio. But not for long occupation is completed through guitarist Oliver Vogt (also Ashes of Utopia). His hardrock based way to play he supports the new won progressivety in the Foreshadowing sound. And so he became the final 4th member.
Soon the band started the recordings of their new forthcoming album "Tragedy".
2007
The post production of their new forthcoming album "Tragedy" runs on heavy rotation. The release date was set to the end of April.
and unfortunately it delays….but not for long….promise
we are planing or better we decided to raise the number of songs on the Album from 10 to 12 therefore the release will be at the end of July
2008

Hi, Im afraid we dont have any video up yet, we'll be doing our first show on May 3rd, only a couple of weeks away now, its getting very exciting!
