   About Forest Giants
Forest Giants were formed in Bristol, England by Tim Rippington (Guitar, Vocals), Jo Head (Drums) and Ruth Cochrane (Bass) in 2001. In 2003 Jo was replaced by former Beatnik Filmstars drummer Tom Adams, and they were joined by Paula Knight on violin and keyboards. Between 2003 and 2007 the band released four CDs on various labels, as well as recording four sessions for the BBC and other radio programmes and performing intermittent live gigs. The CDs were all extremely well received by the fringe music press, but by 2007 the band had lost the collective will to live, and decided that their fourth CD would be their last. Tim has since gone on to form a new band, The Short Stories, with former school friend Steve Miles. They will be releasing their first CD sometime in early 2008. This page survives as a record of the band, together with the website at www.forestgiants.co.uk. Hey Guys
Many thanks for accepting Verbal Tiger's paw of virtual friendship. You should post some more tunes - really enjoying the one that's on your page. Do Giants tower over the trees in the forest? I suppose it depends on the forest.

The HONEY. THE DOG'S HOME compilation CD we are donating any profits to local dogs homes. However assuming no one on the compilation has any objection, the first money generated by sales, will be given to a dog called Ozzy who has been on the news in the last few days. he was taken and tied up and set on fire by a bunch of complete bastards who if i got hold of, i'd kill stone dead with my bare hands, and they could lock me up forever, and i'd never regret it. Ozzy only managed to be alive after the electric cable he was tied up with burnt through, so he managed to run and put the flames out. Vets say he is lucky to be alive, but it's still 50/50 as to if he'll survive. He's so badly burnt, and is going to need a lot of special care and expensive treatment. His owners say he is a kind loving animal, who would never hurt anyone. This happened in Bristol where i live! I can't believe it. I sickens me. I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE ANY OF THE BANDS ON THE CD OR NOT. BUY THIS CD NOW! CLICK & BUY!

Features: Steveless, Inspaceno!, Forest Giants, Das Wanderlust, Horowitz, Watercolor Paintings, Beatnik Filmstars, Hulaboy, The Healthy Home, Idiosyncratic Routine, The Westfield Mining Disaster, Chronicity, Ghosts Of Pasha, Jen Turrell, The Girl from Headquarters, Tiger MC's, Captain Polaroid, The Bobby McGee's, Boyracer, Ghouqueu, Steveless, The Projects.

Tim I've done the travelogue for our gig in London this week. I did post a blog to accompany it but it doesn't seem to have worked. I did swear in it...twice..do you think that's messed it up?
