Foretold was molded out of another christian rock band called HearingSight. In Feb. 2007 HearingSight was laid to rest and a new monster was born. The members of HearingSight did not break up but were shifted around and former Dj now lead vocalist Anthony Pena stepped up as the front man for this very well oiled machine. With the line up shift and the heavier sound stemming from the vocals, it was only fitting to come up with a new name. The name ForeTold comes from a number of different events that have drawn the group together. In a nutshell, it was literally Foretold that this group would form and excel. In March 2007 the monster was finally released at Remnant Youth Conference to a group of 100 - 200 people. One year later, ForeTold debuted their first full length album entitled "Recalled to Life"
The main purpose of ForeTold is to let people know that they are not alone in this world. Many christian bands (and yes we ARE a christian band) make it seem that everything is all well and there is not heartbreak or pains once you become a christian. In reality christians are attacked harder both by worldly and unworldly sources. Our lyrics are about both good times and the hard times in life and rising above the pains of not only being christian but being human.
I had a whole lot of fun on our date the other night!!! I can't believe I was so scared to make the first move!!! o..m..g!
Anyways, the band I was telling you about is VENTURE...I can't believe I couldn't remember the name. Guess being nervous around you wasn't helping the ol' brain ! ;)
