About Forever Mourning

Forever Mourning is an extreme metal project that borrows from the darkest elements of genre ranging from black metal to death metal, classical to jazz, and ambient to industrial music. An armory of instruments includes nylon string guitar, electric guitar, bass, keyboards, orchestral instruments, vocals and drums. With such a dynamic array of influences and instruments, Forever Mourning is inevitably a musically unique entity.

I’ll try to explain with my poor words what you made me feel, OK? Once in a while – fortunately, I’ve been lucky enough to get acquainted with such great bands via MySpace – one has the privilege to hear, to taste something new. A different flavour, an entire canvas showing a novelty of colours. And when you take a sip of what you’re being offered, you just allow yourself to enter a new dimension of sensations; a brand new realm of feelings; one which makes your soul smile, and say “Yeah! It’s wonderful to be alive!” I was enthralled by your art, although I could only savour two complete songs. The other four (true teasers) are promises but they’re only previews. Anyway, for what I could hear, you’re presenting a door to landscapes beyond. There’s a mingling between all those several kinds of Metal that you guys brilliantly manage to weave up into a Black/Death mantle of music.
