REVIEWS of HERALD OF TWILIGHT

Forevers' Fallen Grace basically play epic heavy metal with shades of gothic doom (in the sense of Anathema and Paradise Lost), and more specifically, I guess comparisons can be drawn to bands like Grey Skies Fallen.

Forevers Fallen Grace ~ 2006
The mighty oak does not stand tall in a mere day -- so to, it goes with music.
Forevers Fallen Grace has grown on the musical heritage of classic metal, nurtured by the creativity of the modern masters and hewn by the force of its five members.
From the eastern shores of Massachusetts comes Forevers Fallen Grace. Initially born of guitarist Ken McKee and vocalist Michael Ferro, a pair of studio only projects 1999s Trilogy of Woe and the 2001 recording Of Darksome Rivers and Sorrowed Meadows, were released, garnering critical acclaim. Securing a full time drummer, in Mark Selig, FFG was bestowed new life. A sense of greater possibilities was infused. Long time collaborator Frank Balliro, firmly committed himself to the trio, adding opethian grandeur via the bass guitar.
Forevers Forevers' Fallen Grace took on the northeast tour circuit with their third release This Burden My Cross to Bear. Garnering fans with top rate music and stage show to match, representing music with the hope and despair of our flickering moments on the earth.
A dramatic turn was taken in late 2005, when visionary Kevin Blakey joined the group on piano and keyboards. Kevin quickly ingratiated his song writing sensibilities, helping forge epics such as The Damnationist and Crestfallen. A new offering, a hymnal of metal, will be released for early 2007. In the meantime, visit foreversfallengrace.com, trek to the nearest venue on their tour page and hoist your favorite beverage to the best sounds of the metal underground.

Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.
