Forever Tied, a 4 peice band from the North East of Scotland, Aberdeen.

Bringing there own unique blend of Metal mixed with Hardcore and grind. Forever Tied came about from the ashes of Aberdeen Hardcore Metal band A Dead Issue.

Ex A Dead Issue members Jay, Pete and Scott wanted to make proper metal music, not some image induced shit that has been patrolling the air waves for the last few years. They were joined by Iain (Styx) on drums to record their demo in Jan 2007 5 songs, in a live environment. They then proceeded to gig their new tunes, but in April 2007 they decided they had gone as far sound wise as they could with Iain on drums, so they parted ways. Now they have teamed up with Calum who has brought a new sound and a new added boost to their lineup. So Jay on vox, Pete on bass, Scott on guitar and Calum on drums. They played 2 gigs as this line up (Moorings and Cellar 35) showcased couple of new songs and a more heavier sound.

Claum then left the band to provide blasting beats for aberdeen band Ablach (http://www.myspace.com/ablach) We wish him well in this band and wish all of Ablach all the best. You should check them out, fooookin wicked band.

So that brings us onto the start of 2008, they now have a new drummer "again". They are currently reworking old songs and coming up with new ones. They are going back to a bit more of a groove / hardcore metal sound, but don't want to give too much away just now.

so there we have it, Forever Tied, bringing proper metal back to the masses and they ain't messing around, do yourself a favor, go see them live!

We Forever Tied would like to thank all of our friends, everyone that has seen us play and supported us along the way. Captain Toms deserve a big shout out cause without them we would not be able to jam and write, so cheers guys. Also a big thanks to all the bands we have played with so far, and we hope to play with you all again soon and with many more to come. We are really excited about our new material and cant wait to gig.
