About me:
Forever Tigers (www.forevertiger.com) is a US 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation dedicated to tiger conservation.
Through conservation programs, research, and education, it is our hope that we may yet avert what now seems almost unavoidable and help to save the wild tiger.
It is estimated that fewer than 5,000 tigers may now remain in the wild.
These remaining tigers are threatened by many factors, including: growing human populations; loss of habitat; fractionation of breeding populations leading to inbreeding; illegal hunting of the tiger and the species that it hunts and depends upon for survival; and expanded trade in tiger parts for traditional medicines, trophies, talismans and trinkets.
Forever Tigers is currently involved in several conservation, research, and education programs in India.
