   About Forever Untouched

In the mere two years that they have existed, Cleveland's Forever Untouched have already made a huge impact on the local scene, and acquired a devoted following. The crushing brutality of this dark force is laced with odd time signatures, frantic guitar and bass work amidst polyrhythmic drum beats, and scathing vocals. Having only played a handful of shows, they have already shown that their creative brand of mayhem is a force to be reckoned with, and have earned the respect Cleveland's major bands, such as Switched, Chimaira, Mushroomhead, and Ringworm. Forever Untouched began with the demise of another Cleveland band, which featured current Switched bassist, Jay French on drums. After recording a two song demo, the band lost their drummer and bassist. However, after several months, they found replacements from other Cleveland bands. The line up was complete, consisting of Doug French on vocals, Cliff Edwards and Jeff Collins on guitar, Ben Hollowell on bass, and Jon Vinson on drums. They immediately started to write new material, keeping only the two songs from the demo that they recorded. Unfortunately, after a few months, they were forced to part ways with Jeff Collins due to musical differences. They continued on as a four piece, but then found guitarist Cole Martinez to fill in the spot, and as a result were stronger than ever. In May of 2002, Ben decided to part ways with Forever Untouched due to musical differences. After one impressive audition, they found a permanent replacement in Tony Howard. With the lineup set, and in the time they worked on new material, the band passed out their demo at shows, creating hype before they even played out. When they finally played their first show in September of 2001, there were already a large amount of fans to support them. Since then, they have meticulously self-produced an EP that outshines any of their recordings prior to it. "The Decay Of Those Divine" is a massive and terrorizing musical assault from the first note to the final scream. Within the past two years, Forever Untouched has grown into a sound all their own, absorbing elements from their many influences to create their very own monster. With many of Cleveland's bands gaining major media attention, Forever Untouched are sure to follow the same route. Only their destiny will lead them down a violent path of brutality and blood shed, as they murder everything in their path to the top of their genre. Forever Untouched has stepped up to the plate to show the world what they are made of, and they will not stop until there is nothing left to destroy.
