Forever Vinyl Band Members:
Shawn "Jumper" Blakely, guitarist/vocalist; booking manager, has a 2-year degree in music from Ventura College. He cut into the music scene by playing in several bands from 1999-2005. Shawn markets the band, is the primary musical arranger, and is known for his high-flying stage energy.
James "Rusty" Avgeris, lead guitar/vocals; website manager, joined the band in August 2007. Adding James to the band was the turning point for Forever Vinyl. Not only does James have 30 years experience playing guitar, he toured all over the U.S. and Europe in the 1990's. His lead guitar work is nothing short of outstanding. Denise "Sandy" Barnard, lead vocals/percussion, is a great addition to the band, and a great one indeed. She has many years of experience singing lead vocals and harmonies. Her diverse and dynamic vocals and stage presence command audience attention, and she lives out her rock star dreams every night on stage.
Gene "Groove Daddy" Simons, bass/vocals, is the newest addition to the band. He has been playing bass for many years as well and has played many covers around the L.A. area. His bass grooves are always in the pocket and he anchors the rhythm section with his bottom end.
