About me:
forge is a new amateur journal seeking submissions in a variety of genres and formats. We will be publishing our first issue in June of 2007.

Who I'd like to meet:
forge welcomes all submissions of fiction and creative non-ficton, poetry, and translation. We consider submissions of any genre and style. Works must be original and unpublished. We will be accepting electronic submissions only, excepting exceptional circumstances. Submissions must be typed in Word, double-spaced, in 12 point Times New Roman font. Use endnotes for any citations or notes in the text.
Email all submissions to forgejournal@gmail.com. We would prefer that you save your files in Rich Text format (.rtf), naming the file with your own last name and the title of the work.
(We will currently only be able to publish black and white images. However, as we move to include an online element, we will be publishing color images on the website)
If you are submitting more than one work, attach them all in one email. Title your email with your last name (please don’t title it “submission”).
Serial publishings will be considered and encouraged for works over 8,000 words in length, or works in progress.
