New to the Forgotten by Friday Experience? Forgotten by Friday is a high energy, original Americana/Rock band with strong Country Roots. Our influences include: Keith Urban, Lynryd Skynryd, Bon Jovi, and The Zack Brown Band. We have made a reputation as one of the best original bands in New England by playing the top tier venues from Vermont to Nashville. We bring incredible musicianship with very strong songwriting and a fun interactive stage show to our live performances on a nightly basis, gaining fans everywhere we go. We are group of professional musicians looking to take our music to as many people as we can. We take a great pride in our ability to write memorable songs that stick in your head, and leave you singing them for days after you hear them. FbF has played extensively in New England, Boston, New York City and Nashville TN. We’ve playing in place like: Up or on the Rocks, Daniels Street, Toad’s Place and the Webster in Connecticut; the Local 269, John Street, the National Underground and Zebulon in New York City; in Boson at All Asia, Copperfields and at the Boston Music Conferences Americana/Fold Showcase; in Nashville TN they’ve played at The Bluebird Café, Douglas’ Corner, Picks Cafe and the Commodore. We have opened for various national acts such as CAVO, American Bang, Atom Smash, etc. Forgotten by Friday has had radio airplay on several Connecticut radio stations like WPKN and WCCC and can be heard all over the internet on sites like imradio.com, undergroundmix.com, and allsouthernrock.com. Forgotten by Friday is endorsed by Kronik Energy Drinks as well as having several personal endorsements. Tom Forst is endorsed by Occhineri Guitars. Dominick Mauro is endorsed by Bulletproof guitars. Mike G is endorsed by Soul-Tone Cymbals. We are currently working on the Horizon Music Group Label with renowned, world class producer Vic Steffans, who is producing our first album, set to release early 2011. The Band is also working extensively with a great organization called the Wounded Warrior Project, a program that helps badly injured soldiers go back to civilian life. Dominick Mauro, Ryan Schneider, Tom Forst, Mike G and Maria Soaft make up Forgotten by Friday. Mike G is a premier CT session player and is one of the most sought after drummers in CT. Mike shows not only his versatility with FBF, but also his incredible feeling for the music. Tom Forst really brings sonic difference and emotional layers to the band. Tom is widely known as one of the best live and session players in NYC, Boston and CT. His heart felt lead lines and guitar solos bring the best out in the band. Ryan Schneider has a great understanding of melody, song structure, and is adept in delivering “The Hook”. Ryan is one of our central songwriters. Dominick Mauro is also a well known, virtuoso bass player. With a bevy of recording and live experience, Dom has proven himself to be among the top players in the region for years. Dominick is also the lead vocalist for the band. His gospel and southern soul inspired vocal and melody lines will grab you and force you to take notice. His lyrical ability will make you think, and his rich voice will leave you wanting more! Maria Soaft is the newest addition the FbF family. Though this is her premier debut to the music scene her sweet and sultry harmonies and powerful soulful lead lines add dimension and depth.
