Forgotten Tragedy is a Christian hardcore band from Whiteland, Indiana that formed in late 2004. After several member changes and major setbacks, Forgotten Tragedy has remained steadfast in their vision to spread God's love through heavy music. Now with a solidified lineup, FT continues to captivate audiences with their passionate performances -- building onto their already impressive show resume. FT has been blessed with playing the Vans Warped Tour and other various small tours around the midwest and east coast. A festival performance in Ontario, Canada has recently helped FT gain international attention; there they shared the stage with other international recording artists such as Jars of Clay, Thousand Foot Krutch, Petra, and many many more. FT also made a stop on 2007's Warped Tour playing with bands such as Underoath, Haste The Day, As I Lay Dying and more. The boys in FT show no signs of slowing down as they are releasing a full length album, "Your name is love" on Jan 31st 2009.

And what does Forgotten Tragedy mean?

Jesus died for the sin of man, and in acceptance of this amazing gift of Christ, he creates us as new.

John 3:3

Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

Micah 7:18-19

18 Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. 19 You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Isaiah 43:25

25 (declares the LORD.) "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.

Jeremiah 31:34

34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

So, all of those sins, (in this case, "tragedies") have been forgotten. We are new in the image of God!
