About me:

I am into many things, but most notably wrestling and combat sports. I believe that wrestling is the purest form of intense competition both physically and mentally, and is thus the standard for most combative athletics. Greco-Roman wrestling, I feel, is the most under-appreciated sport in this country, and is also the main form of competition that excites me. I also believe in Greco as a concept, a style that lends itself to competition, physical fitness, and even martial arts. Wrestling is the world's oldest martial art, and also the greatest sport as well. To me, it will always be where my heart is. *I am also a writer and editor, and have worked on numerous projects that have helped mold my experience. I enjoy the power of language, the creativity it can bring, and the different styles, dictions, and voices that surround the written forms of communication. *At my core, I am a faithful and disciplined person who enjoys working and working out hard, having a lot of laughs, and knowing when to get my edge and have tunnel vision. *I wrestle for the Inner Circle Wrestling Academy (Marietta GA)and am also working on building my own branch of it to NJ called the North Jersey Freestyle Club, which will bring in wrestlers of both Greco and Freestyle to train and compete. I am a member of Team Endgame, where I am a trainer and instructor of some of the more talented athletes in Northern NJ. *I have won titles in wrestling that I am proud of, however, I am now training and competing at a different level than ever before. I am excited, and I believe in myself. I have my goals in place, and hopefully with continued training and faith, I can accomplish what I set out to do. I find a level of spirituality in training and competition that is tough for me to articulate correctly sometimes, but simply put, I believe in giving my all each workout as if I'm preparing for my own "D-Day." *A lifelong chronic asthmatic, I feel that I owe my perseverance to God and hard work. It has been my faith in God and my Lord that has helped push me to raise my efforts and desire to a new level. Anyone who suffers from this condition, keep the faith and work hard, and you can overcome it too.
