The brainchild of Mack Danger, FORMER shed its skin in the 90's and into the new millenium. Most of the stuff was recorded on low grade defective equipment, but the songs speak for themelves. After recording more than 80 songs, Mack joined Akt Ov Ghod in 2003 and left early 2004.
For awhile, it looked as though this could be the end of Mack's music career. However, after a long hiatus from playing, the fever and hunger returned in 2006 and 2007 Mack wrestled with the future of his music, and the future of Former, since it was a unique name back in the 90's but now you can find 27 pages of bands named FORMER on myspace.
However, future recordings will be under the name "Dead Cowboy Rebellion" and though the initial recordings will be done by Mack Danger, there are plans to put together a live band so, 2008 may be the year this finally takes off.
Peace to you and yours,
Mack Danger
