Formosus was formed in 2007 in Cracow, Poland by Krzysztof Stanisz (ex. Goblin Market, ex. Archanger) and Maciej Jagiello (ex. Goblin Market, ex. Cierń). They hooked up Marcin Turek (ex. Ceremony, Furia Magnifica) on vocals, Piotr Kaczmarski (ex. Mutilation, ex. Tromsnar) on bass and Marcin Pazera (ex. A trip to L.A., ex. Afera Band) on drums. The music they play is influenced by scandinavian metal because of passion for melody and aggression. The band finished its first demo EP in July 2008.
