It has been a year today since Ori died. Everybody seemed to have moved on, but I will always remember my brother and the tragic circumstances he died under. On June 12th, I will be seeing The Church in San Francisco. This will be very meaningful to me as it was Ori's favorite band. RIP, my brother. I am sorry.

I met Ori at the Steve Kilbey solo show at the Excelsior hotel in October 07 as we agreed to recognise eachother from our photos on Facebook. I had no trouble spotting him as he was sprawled out right at the front of the lounge sized club area, he had his girlfriend with him and was enjoying himself immensely. Steve told a joke at one stage and we all laughed and at that moment Ori happened to turn around, and recognised me too, so after the show he came right over and we had a chat about the sort of things that most Church fans chat about, I told him I listened to his myspace songs and said he had a lovely voice but he said oh no he was just a guitar player. Ori was always interested, enthusiastic and helpful especially about anything technological, audio, medical, or the Church. I did not realise how much I got used to him being around in that internet community way and I miss him, but will always think of him when I hear the song Teachers which he liked so much from that solo show.

Ori - I hope you find peace. We're sad to lose 'one of our own' and will miss you.

Thanks to those who set this page up in Ori's memory, and for adding his music to the page.

Ori, i cant believe you're gone. It wont be the same not seeing you at gigs, your smiling face with those sparkling eyes and wish i had the chance to tell you just how much you'll be missed. I hope you're at peace now, in a beautiful place free from all the pain, playing the hell out of that 12 string! Love S x

Ori, I still can't believe we won't see you at the next gig. How you managed to put up with all the pain and still smile and be positive about life is a mystery to me! I will really miss you, who am I going to share all the juicy gossip with now? At least you're happy now, and I hope that wherever you are, you're still playing the guitar.
