Bio
.. .. .. ..The Golden Hour.. is poetry and prose, it’s acoustic and it’s electric, it’s physical and mental. ..The Golden Hour.. takes place on the penultimate Wednesday of each month, at the Forest Cafe in Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition, the Golden Hour goes where we are beckoned. ..The Golden Hour.. walks the fine line between literature and music, between sobriety and drunkeness, between zen levity and existential gravity. ..The Golden Hour.. gives poets and writers a place to read their words, in between the interruptions of the espresso machine. ..The Golden Hour.. gives the stage to musicians and bands and lets them do what they will with it. ..The Golden Hour.. does not take itself seriously. ..The Golden Hour.. is box wine and storytelling. ..The Golden Hour.. is dancing on tables. ..The Golden Hour.. is the disaffected wiping away unexpected tears upon hearing a poem, that you didn't know you wanted to hear. ..The Golden Hour.. is frenetic. Sometimes we pull it off. Sometimes we don't. But we always have the music, the words, and, most importantly, the wine. ......The Golden Hour Book.. (..and CD..) is an effort to distill all the goodness of our live performance – the words, the music, the bottles of beer and wine – into a volume of pure, unrefined Gold, featuring the artists that have performed over the past year. .... This is Golden. ........ .. .... .. .. .. .. .. ................ -
