WE ARE ABOUT MOTORCYCLE RIGHTS & FREEDOMS. THAT'S IT - BLACK AND WHITE. We do enjoy an occasional party now and then, some members enjoy a few (or more) beers. We are definately not stuck up or up tight people. Most of us are down home country folks from little hick towns in Northern Missouri!
This page was not set up to cause any drama or bullshit. If that is your purpose please feel free to leave now. We are a very down to earth group of people and we do not have the time to deal with senseless drama started by someone with too much time on their hands.
Music
For most of us the sound of the wind is music to our ears!
Movies
WELL.. WE ALL DID SEEM TO ENJOY WILD HOGS! :)
Television
WHO HAS TIME FOR TELEVISION - WE'RE USUALLY OUT RIDING!
Books
We don't read books, we read maps to plan our next journey. In the winter you might catch us reading motorcycle reapair manuals, or looking at some motorcycle parts & appearal magazines. Of course monthly we all read our copy of the FREEDOM PRESS from cover to cover..oh yeah and THE BIBLE
Heroes
ANYONE WHO STANDS UP FOR THE FREEDOM OF THE UNITED STATES AMERICAN. ANYONE WHO STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORD A SOLID 100% AND DOESN'T BS AROUND THE BUSH!

About me: Freedom of Road Riders Local 8 is based in Chillicothe, Missouri. We are a motorcyclist rights ORGANIZATION - WE ARE NOT A CLUB! We support the rights of all motorcyclists and we have one common goal - the FREEDOM & SAFETY of all who ride the roads of Missouri. We are NOT just about helmet freedoms.
Local 8 was established in 1983 and is home of "Spring Fling," one of the longest running motorcycle events in the state! We also provide beginning and advanced motorcycle training through Motorcycle Safety Foundation approved classes on a range in Trenton Missouri.
Local 8 began what is now a statewide event known as the “Proclamation Ride.” Riders from across the state promote motorcycle awareness in April ahead of May being proclaimed Motorcycle Awareness Month.
We as a whole, have one interest - RIDING MOTORCYCLES. Contrary to popular belief, we do not all ride Harley-Davidson’s. Many of our members have various brands of motorcycles and we support motorcyclists of all kinds, from all walks of life.
If you have any other questions, comments or if you're just curious you can check out our website at www.forr8.net or go to the state organization website at www.forr.net.
Who I'd like to meet: ANY MOTORCYCLE ENTHUSIASTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. LEAVE US YOUR STORIES, YOUR FAVORITE ROADS TO TRAVEL, YOUR LEAST FAVORITE ROADS TO TRAVEL.....
