Does'nt matter what style. I either like it or I don't. Like hard rock some favorites are AC/DC,Iron Maiden Motorhead and Heaven and Hell which is the Dio version of Sabbath. Also love Celtic Music such as Glengarry Bhoys and Albannach as well as Searson. Course you can't forget Celtic punk like The Real Mckenzies or Dropkick Murphys.

Braveheart is a favorite. All kinds of historical movies, as well as anything that makes me laugh.

History and historical fiction. Anything that has to do with the Picts, and early Scottish history up to the 14th century. My favorite author is Nigel Tranter. He writes mainly Scottish historical fiction. Been rereading alot of his books lately. At Isleman by Tranter.

About me: Well lets see here i'm a 39 yr old male who is happiest in a skirt er I mean kilt. I am the VP of the Mid-Atlantic branch of the Clan Donnachaidh the name means children of Duncan, which is me mums maiden name. Our lineage is from the earls of Atholl, from a son of King Duncan. He is sprung from the Abbots of Dunkeld on his fathers side, and the kings of Alba on his mothers.
Who I'd like to meet: Most people i'd like to meet are dead. Have a strong interest in the dark ages in what would become Scotland. First up is BrudeI king of the Picts 6th century. Later annals would claim he was converted into a christian. No contempary source states this. I think he tolerated the new faith while remaining pagan, at least I hope so.
Next man is BrudeIII king of the Picts 672-693. During this time the northern English tried to dominate the Picts. But in 685 Brude gave them the what for and they went home!.
The greatest Pict king was Onuist 731-61. In fact he may have been considered the overlord of all of no. Britain. His home base was in the area that the Duncans are found in the most density. So maybe I can count this king as an ancestor of mine!.
